Lufthansa cocktail
Lufthansa Cocktail - Information
Lufthansa cocktails were originally only served to 1st class passengers.
Taken the Lufthansa drink under the microscope
- Back in the 50s Lufthansa cocktail was manufactured by Gin and served on flights for that airline to wealthy first class passengers. The drink consists of an orange-apricot liqueur with 30 vol%.
- In the 60s and 70s it was due to the high popularity of the drink in the normal trading so that it could be consumed by any person. The drink it developed rapidly as a scene drink, the glass edges were slipped in lemon juice and then provided with sugar specifically for the enjoyment in clubs and bars.
- Over time, however, the drink lost its cult status and disappeared from the range.
The resurgence of the cocktail - worth knowing about
- In 2005, the Lufthansa AG finally celebrated its 50th founding anniversary and read the drink back to life.
- Be the year 2006, the Lufthansa cocktail is then again available on the flights of the airline, with the design of the drink has changed dramatically. Thus, the drink is now available in a bottle that resembles a Boston shaker. Meanwhile, the company Berentzen acquired the original recipe of the Lufthansa cocktails, which is why this company is now editor of the drink.
- Also, the drink was awarded a gold award at the International Spirits Competition as a brand spirit of the year.
So you can enjoy the drink
- Especially tasty, the drink is ice cold and eaten alone. But even "on the rocks" it tastes you certainly good.
- Another delicious drink is a mixture of 2 parts champagne and a part of the Lufthansa cocktails.
Would you like to drink himself to acquire, then it can buy, for example, to "spirits world". Of course, the drink even when Berentzen is to order itself.

‘Lufthansa Cocktail’ To Get Updated Recipes And Flavors
For those of you who are truly in the know, this is not the first time that you’ve heard of the Lufthansa Cocktail liquor.
The orange/apricot flavored ‘adult juice’ was first unveiled in 1955 when used as a ‘Welcome Aboard’ beverage for passengers flying in ‘Senator’ class. From there it became one of the most popular cocktails throughout Germany in the 60s and 70s (I suspect only West Germany however! 😉 )
After the waning of its popularity in the 80s and 90s, it was revived in 2005 as part of a 50 year celebration of Lufthansa and has been available in Lufthansa’s First Class Lounges and First Class Terminal (Frankfurt) ever since. But you had to know it was there, so apologies to any ‘maximizers’ that missed adding this to their list of lounge ‘freebies’ that they’re entitled to. 🙂
Currently, you can purchase the Cocktail at a very few select employee stores (Ringeltaube) near Frankfurt and Munich Airport but you have a card giving you permission to shop there or be taken there by an LH employee.
The reinvention of the new Lufthansa Cocktail will debut later this year and will be available in 6 distinct flavors. Plans call for it to be available in Duty Free shops in Munich and Frankfurt and potentially other shops in Germany.
If you’ve never had the cocktail, next time you are in an FCL or the FCT, try one. Its great ‘on the rocks’ or with Sprite (7 Up).
All this talk of a Lufthansa Cocktail has now led me to want to pour a bit over some ice, light a cigar and watch the thunderstorms roll in this evening…….Gotta’ go….Good Night!

Whisky muss lagern.

1Teil Apry Brandy (Marie Brizard)
Viel Spaß beim Mixen.

Climate and best time to visit Milan
Sultry in summer, frosty and festive in winter, Milan is a year-round destination. The city is at its buzziest during the semi-annual fashion week, which takes place in spring and autumn and attracts the crème de la crème of the international style elite. The Premier League football season draws crowds of beer-quaffing tourists to the San Siro Stadium from September onwards, while the crisp winter months are enlivened by carnivals, a celebrity-studded opera season and one of the biggest Christmas markets in Italy. During June, July and August, visitors can enjoy open-air street festivals, park concerts and a diverse outdoor movie programme.
Climate & best time to visit Italy
Italy is a great destination to visit year round, particularly if taking a city break, though for the warmest and most reliable weather April to June is the prime tourist season. Most Italians take their holiday in July and August so prices, and crowds, can soar during these months, which are also the hottest of the year. If you’re keen to avoid the main scrum of peak season but still bank on mild weather, late September to October is a good choice.

Mobile telephony and Internet
Since June 2017, EU citizens traveling within the EU, and also in Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein have been able to use their cell phones and surf the Net without incurring any extra charges: In other words, customers pay the same price for phone calls, text messages and data volume as they do at home. Restrictions do apply to the constant use of SIM cards abroad, however, and caps may be set on data packages. For full details, contact your mobile telephony provider in your country. Travelers using a SIM card from a non-EU state do not benefit from the new arrangement.
Free Internet access via Wi-Fi is possible in many busy tourist spots. When using public Wi-Fi networks, it is a wise precaution to ensure encryption of all passwords, credit card details and banking TANs entered. Use of a VPN app or security software to check the safety of a hotspot is recommended.

Shopping in Milan
One of the linchpins of the international fashion scene, Milan is a shopaholic’s dream destination. The city’s designer stores are clustered around the golden highway that is the Via Montenapoleone – here, big names like Armani and Versace rub shoulders with super-luxe Italian boutiques. Stroll around the surrounding streets of Via della Spiga and Via Sant’Andrea for more designer retail therapy, or head to the more affordable Corso Vittorio Emanuele to find top-end, high-street labels.
Every Saturday, wharf-side Viale d’Annunzio is packed with stalls selling everything from old furniture to second-hand clothes for the Fiera di Senigallia flea market. If you’re in town for the last Sunday of the month, the antique exhibition market along the Alzaia Naviglio Grande is well worth a look.
The Galleria Vittoria Emanuel II is the oldest mall in the world, and the most famous in Milan. Other shopping centres worth a visit include La Rinascente and 10 Corso Como.

Traveller etiquette
The social structure is heavily influenced by the Roman Catholic Church and, generally speaking, family ties are stronger than in most other countries in Western Europe. Normal social courtesies should be observed. Dress is casual but smart in most places, and beachwear should be confined to the beach. Conservative clothes are expected when visiting religious buildings and smaller, traditional communities.
Formal wear is usually indicated on invitations. Smoking is prohibited in public buildings, transport and cinemas. When visiting an Italian home for dinner, bring a small gift of sweets or chocolate, and dress well. Let your host lead when sitting and starting the meal. Take a small portion of what’s on offer as you will surely be cajoled into having another helping. If you do not want more wine, leave your glass full so it cannot be refilled.

Tap water is generally safe to drink. Bottled water is available. The inscription ‘Acqua Non Potabile’ means water is not drinkable. Milk is generally pasteurised and dairy products are safe for consumption. Past outbreaks of brucellosis in southern regions means unpasteurised buffalo mozzarella is best avoided. Local meat, poultry, seafood, fruit and vegetables are considered safe to eat.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) also recommends vaccinations for measles, mumps, rubella, polio and hepatitis B.

- PROPRIETARIO
Bastian Heuser e Sebastian Brack

- Lufthansa Negroni Cocktail 0.5L (25,7% Vol.)
The Lufthansa Cocktail Negroni is a blend of London Dry Gin, Red Vermouth, and Bitter Aperitif, which clocks in at an abv of 25.7%. After mixing, the cocktail is aged in the bottle to marry the flavours together for a complex, silky taste. It is bitter-sweet, with a generous, full body and a tangy, tart finish. You can top the blend up with soda water and garnish with orange peel for the full cocktail experience. This classy, sophisticated drink is satisfyingly bitter and complex and is sure to win fans wherever it is served.
Inspired by the cocktails served aboard Lufthansa aeroplanes since the 1950s, the Lufthansa Cocktail line is a range of high quality pre-mixed drinks. Now you can enjoy the glamour of top-flight cocktails at home! Bottled cocktails were popular as early as 1912, and they are experiencing a comeback as more and more drinkers wish for a cocktail which is quick and convenient to serve, without sacrificing quality.
