Cocktails with Passoa

One of my new bottle is great black bottle of Passoa Passion Fruit liqueur. Passoa Passion Fruit liqueur is modern creature of Remy-Cointreau Company. It was launched 1986 in European market and 1994 worldwide. This bright pink liqueur has exotic sweet taste of passion fruit juice, citrus and herbs. Great thing for easy summer cocktails.

I collect some interesting cocktails with Passoa Passion Fruit liqueur:

30 ml Passoa Passion fruit liqueur

1 b.s. fresh lime (lemon) juice

fill with lemon-lime soda

Build in a collins glass with ice cubes. Garnish with lime wedges.

Very sweet refreshing cocktail with great tropical taste and bright color. Admirable drink.

Next drink has great pink color and it is one of cosmos, of course.

20 ml Passoa Passion fruit liqueur

20 ml Cointreau

1 bsp. fresh lime juice

Shake and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Strong and sweet cocktail. Clear passion in the glass.

The author of next cocktail is one of my favorite barman – The Maestro – Salvatore Calabrese. Actually cocktail with that name (and similar composition) was my first post on this blog :)

30 ml Passoa Passion fruit liqueur

60 ml cranberry juice

60 ml fresh grapefruit juice

Shake. Strain into a highball filled with ice. Garnish with a maraschino cherry on the rim.

It is modern dance-club-style cocktail with interesting bitter-sweet and exotic taste. Water, sugar, alcohol – and all you need is love :)

Next cocktail is similar to tiki-cocktail. Add more kind of rum and you obtain real tiki-monster :)

40 ml light rum

20 ml Passoa Passion fruit liqueur

50 ml fresh orange juice

20 ml pineapple juice

20 ml fresh grapefruit juice

1-2 tsp. grenadine

Shake and strain into ice-filled double-rocks glass. Garnish with a flag.

This tropic punch has sweet and exotic taste. Good concoction for hot summer days on the beach.

Great recipes. I had a drink on a cruise recently that they called a “Rebellious Fish” and I know the ingredients just not the recipe. I’m wondering if you would know. It has orange vodka, Passoa, Cointreau, orange juice and a splash of sparkling wine over the top.

Nice. Now I could experiment something with the wine and vodka at home. These are great recipes. Now I’ve got something good in hand to try apart from my favorite cigar Habanos.

Vodka is always my first choice. I also like to do such experiments which you have done. I like to add more and more taste to it and then i drink it while smoking my favorite cigars.

Bay of Passion was really really great. I hadn’t ever heard of it before. Great thanks ;)

The rebellious fish is orange juice, volka , passoa liq top with champange and they add infused blueberries , i just off a cruise and drank them all week

  Monkey Passion

  Да, я абсолютно согласен – на моем блоге уже давно не было тропических коктейлей. Эдаких тики-монстров с чудовищным содержанием алкоголя, углеводов и льда. В бокалах более похожих на аквариум для золотой рыбки, чем на посуду для алкогольного напитка…

  На самом деле для таких напитков конечно нужно особое настроение, ключевое слово в котором – жажда. Я даже не представлял себе, откуда у меня может появится такое настроение, если даже в самую сильную летнюю жару я не уходил дальше Кайпироски. Ан нет, с заданием справился тривиальный бодун :) Когда, как не с бодуна, очень хочется пить [и продолжать]?

  Коктейль Monkey Passion (Страсть Обезьяны), конечно же, не тики-коктейль, в нем нет смеси ромов (но есть 100 г компонентов с крепостью 40°), нет экзотических ингредиентов (ну разве что ликер Passoa, сделанный где-то в Европе из компонентов, идентичных натуральным) или доброго десятка ингредиентов. С другой стороны есть монстрюозный объем (в оригинальном рецепте около 300 мл), экзотическое и глупое название (согласен, Страсть Обезьяны звучит еще идиотичнее, чем Скорпион, Вулкан или Зомби), ну и легкий тропический вкус :)

  

  Monkey Passion (Страсть Обезьяны)

  60 мл ликера Passoa

  150 мл свежевыжатого апельсинового сока

  Смешайте все ингредиенты в шейкере с колотым льдом. Подавайте в бокале тамблер.

  Я не знаю, кто придумал этот коктейль, но две ошибки налицо – смысла взбивать этот коктейль с колотым льдом, понятное дело, нет, а вот исходя из прописи подавать этот коктейль нужно не в тамблере (объем этого бокала очевидно не может быть более 200-300 мл, т.к. тамблер, по определению, небольшой олд-фешенед), а в 2-3 тамблерах, т.к. при загрузке в шейкер 300 мл компонентов на выходе мы получим все 500 мл :)

  Вобщем я этот коктейль взбил с обычным льдом кубиками, а сервировал в своем самом большом бокале херикейн объемом около 800 мл :) Ага, эксклюзивно для тики-монстров!

  Не думаю, что надо как-то тщательно описывать вкус этого коктейля – сладко, тропично и легко. Много жидкости, много алкоголя, много углеводов – очень хорошо похмеляет ;) [a propos! – меня всегда удивлял и практически вводил в негодование тот факт, что Дон Бич “Бичкамбер” придумал свой коктейль Зомби якобы как похмельное средство, но теперь я понимаю, что для опохмела такие коктейля подходят ;) , но сцуко-опасны…]

  Cocktails with Passoa

  В принципе, все коктейли, которые на данный момент придуманы человечеством, я делю на умные, глупые и хлам :) Причем первые две категории стоит готовить и пить (все зависит от ситуации и состава участников), а хлам он и есть хлам :) Сегодня мой пост будет посвящен глупым коктейлям. Но сладким и веселым. Эдакая жидкая энергия для ночей в стиле латино ;)

  Одна из новых бутылок в моем баре, которая была подарена мне на мой тридцатьпервый день рождения – это экзотический ликер Пассоа Маракуя (Passoa Passion Fruit). Это какой-то новомодный ликер с ярким тропическим вкусом (и цветом) в стильной черной бутылке с тремя яркими пальмами. Один только вид ликера приводит меня в прекрасное настроение знойных тропических ночей :)

  Изрядно покопавшись в инете мне, к сожалению, удалось обнаружить не так много рецептов, да и те, что удалось найти, не блистали :) Пришлось их адаптировать под свой вкус, впрочем названия и основной состав компонентов я оставил нетронутыми.

  Итак, несколько коктейлей для моего нового ликера Пассоа Маракуя:

  Изначально рецепт коктейля Розовая Страсть (Pink Passion) выглядел так. Ну да, понятное дело, что это дурацкий рецепт… Пропорции коктейля были подогнанны под имеющуюся посуду (хайбол на 10 унций (300 мл)) и от меня была дорисована барная ложечка фреша лайма (можно и лимона), все же не так приторно :)

  

  Pink Passion (Розовая Страсть)

  30 мл ликера Пассоа Маракуя

  1 б.л. свежевыжатого сока лайма (лимона)

  Билд в бокале коллинз. Украсить долькой лайма.

  Сладкий коктейль с освежающим тропическим вкусом. Учтите, его яркий, коралловый цвет многих может привести в восторг (и ожирению впоследствии… от избытка углеводов).

  Помимо стильной черной бутылки второй гламурной визуальной деталью ликера Пассоа Маракуйя является яркий коралловый цвет самого ликера. Куда как ни в Космополитан добавлять такую красоту :)

  Рецепт Passionate Cosmo (Страстный Космо) был также найден на свалке. Пришлось убрать пару глупостей и пересчитать на нормальную посуду, в качестве украшения я рекомендую небольшое колесико лайма на ободок бокала.

  

  Passionate Cosmo (Страстный Космо)

  20 мл ликера Пассоа Маракуя

  1 б.л. свежевыжатого сока лайма

  Шейк. Коктейльный бокал, украсьте небольшим колесиком лайма на ободке бокала.

  Крепкий, сладкий коктейль с экзотическим вкусом. Отличная вещь, если хочется чего-то покрепче.

  Автором следующего коктейля является сам Маэстро Сальваторе Калабрезе [удивительно, но это не делает коктейль умным :) ]. Изначально рецепт предполагает в два раза большее количество клюквенного сока… Не думаю, что это удачная идея, конкретно для моего сока. Второй достопремечательностью этого коктейля является то, что коктейль с названием Bay Of Pasion был первым моим постом на этом блоге [коктейль имел даже похожий состав].

  

  Bay of Passion (Бухта Страсти)

  30 мл ликера Пассоа Маракуя

  60 мл клюквенного сока

  60 мл свежевыжатого сока грейпфрута

  Шейк. Процедите в бокал хайболл со льдом. Украсьте красной мараскиновой вишней на ободке бокала.

  Это коктейль в современном клубном стиле, необычное и очень приятное сочетание сладкого и горького. Такой коктейль очень хочется в денс-клубе: освежает, опьяняет и подпитывает жидкостью и углеводами.

  Ну и напоследок, предпримем ещё одну попытку продемонстрировать возможность (и закономерность) дружбы ликера Пассоа с отличным от водки крепким алкоголем, а именно с ромом. Очевидно, что сочетание ликера с тропическим вкусом и рома не менее привлекательно, чем с водкой.

  Этот коктейль я нашел на сайте Пламена Бокалова (болгарский бармен с говорящей фамилией :) , хотя может я не разобрался и это псевдоним. ). Он предлагает для этого коктейля какую-то мегафанатичную конструкцию из грейпфрута и фруктовый салат как украшение (и соки из пачки ;) )… Я предлагаю обойтись бокалом рокс и флагом :)

  

  Passion Dream (Страстная Мечта)

  40 мл светлого рома

  20 мл ликера Пассоа Маракуя

  50 мл свежевыжатого апельсинового сока

  20 мл ананасового сока

  20 мл свежевыжатого сока грейпфрута

  1-2 ч.л. гренадина

  Шейк. Процедить в бокал рокс со льдом. Украсить флагом.

  Без сомнения, такое сочетание ингредиентов не могло быть плохим. Прекрасный сладкий тропический пунш. Это конечно не тики-коктейль в классическом понимании, но вкус этого коктейля близок к тики. Прекрасный напиток для пляжа прежде всего.
