A brilliant, turquoise 1970s classic, the Blue Lagoon may look and sound tropical, but it's a deliciously tangy, citrus harmony of vodka, blue curaçao and lemonade.

Smirnoff No. 21® Vodka

Smirnoff No. 21® Vodka

A vodka that's known around the world, Smirnoff is born of a long history of charcoal filtration to give smooth mouth feel and a pure, clean flavour.

How to make

Fill a highball glass with cubes of ice.

Using a jigger, measure 50ml Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka and 150ml lemonade into the glass.

Stir the mixture until well combined.

Drizzle 25ml Blue Curaçao liqueur over the mixture.

Using a sharp knife and chopping board, cut a slice of lemon and secure onto the rim of the glass.

Avoid top-ups

It’s easier to keep track of your drinks if you know how many full glasses you’re drinking.

Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon represents the essence of the Caribbean. Clear blue water, fierce blue sky, and a relaxed vibe. Basically, it is a tropical ocean in a glass. Just one look at the cocktail and you will instantly feel the paradise ambience. Feet in the sand, wind through your hair and the first touch of the sea on your skin. Can you imagine a cocktail giving you that sensation?

Ingredients

• 1 part Vodka
• 1 part Senior Genuine Blue Curaçao
• ½ part Lemon juice
• Ice cubes
• Sprite or 7-up
• Garnish: Strawberry & lime slice

• Shaker
• Sling glass

How to prepare

Add the Senior Genuine Blue Curaçao, Vodka, and lemon juice to a shaker. Fill it with ice and shake well. Fill your glass with ice cubes and strain the cocktail into the glass. Top it off with Sprite or 7-up and garnish with a lime slice and strawberry.

Visit only if you are over legal drinking age.

Blue Lagoon Cocktail Recipe

1. Take cocktail shaker and add 1 cup crushed ice in it.
2. Add all blue lagoon cocktail ingredients into cocktail shaker and shake well.
3. Fill highball glass with ice cubes. Strain and pour prepared mixed drink in it.
4. Garnish with a cocktail umbrella and serve with a straw.

• This is a standard recipe of blue lagoon drink. If you want it to be stronger and more potent, then increase vodka measure to 60 ml (2 oz) and reduce the lemonade to 2 oz or 3 oz.
• Garnish with maraschino cherry for extra visual treat.

Blue Lagoon Cocktails

Directions

Combine 6 ounces each coconut rum and blue curacao, 3 ounces lemon juice and 2 tablespoons superfine sugar in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until very cold, then strain into 6 short glasses filled with ice. Garnish each with a maraschino cherry, pineapple wedge, orange slice and a drink umbrella.

Toopua Blue Lagoon Cocktail

SERVES:

Ingredients Nutrition

• 3 ounces vodka
• 1 1 ⁄₃ ounces blue curacao
• 3 1 ⁄₃ ounces pineapple juice
• 2 ⁄₃ ounce lemon juice
• 4 teaspoons sugar
• ice
• 2 lime wedges

Directions

1. Pour all ingredients (except lime wedges) into a cocktail shaker, with ice, and shake.
2. Strain into two margarita glasses, garnish with lime wedges and serve.

The Blue Lagoon cocktail is blue, ever so slightly frothy and totally citrus in flavor. It’s mostly lemonade, so you can imagine how refreshing it is on a long hot day.

This is a great drink for anytime you’re wanting lemonade with a kick. It’s perfect for an afternoon at the poolside, but it’s equally at home with evenings on the back porch. This is a drink that’s pure fun.

• 1 ounce vodka
• 1 ounce blue curacao
• Lemonade

Fill a highball glass with ice and pour in your vodka and curacao. Top the rest of the way with lemonade, and garnish with a wedge of lemon.
