AllMusic Review by Stewart Mason

A handy 19-track compilation of B-sides, stray contributions to compilations and split EPs, live recordings, and three re-recordings rounding things out, Cocktails & Dreams is both a boon for longtime fans and a perfectly fine introduction to the Chicago pop/rockers for the uninitiated. Unlike a lot of bands, the Lawrence Arms don't treat these stray tracks as an excuse to be half-assed, goofy (although one track is titled "Joyce Carol Oates Is a Boring Old Biddy," a sentiment to which a generation of English majors nods in assent), or needlessly experimental; silly title and all, "Hey, What Time Is 'Pensacola: Wings of Gold' on, Anyway?" is a powerful, punky rocker with a soaring chorus, a well-turned lyric, and a killer primary riff. The similarly impressive "Overheated" is quite possibly the band's best song yet. "Intransit," "Turnstiles," and "The Old Timer's 2x4," are equally fine (the latter two were first heard on Ghost Stories); they're catchy indie rock songs that don't sacrifice catchy melodies for punk rock power, featuring lead singers Brendan Kelly and Chris McCaughan's gruff but tuneful vocals and the whole trio's admirable musical muscle.

- Kanchi -I am a regular visitor to this sweet little place. It has a nice friendly vibe to it. The cocktails here are excellent. You can literally speak your mood to the bar tender and he ll make you something to go with your mood! My personal fav is monkey gland. They have a small food menu, but then everything that i have had has been good, like pigs in the blanket, chicken wings.

and assembly, a temporary events notice application (this is the

bar licence, required by law), installation of the draught dispersal

Our bars come in a variety of shapes and sizes, can be adapted for

happily set up your bar the day before or on day of your event to

Cocktails and Dreams - Zakynthos Forum

Whilst I was in Zante I saw the doormen seriously hurt 4 groups of lads. One of which was mine. We got hit with a baseball bat and peppersprayed because we tried taking a drink (which we bought from the bar) upstairs. When we said 'Why, aren't you allowed them up there' the bouncer threw my friend down the steps. I saw this happen to 4 other sets of lads. Stay well away

Sorry to hear your lad was so badly treated and should not happen anywhere.

I cant understand the manager or owner is allowing these doormen to get away with treating potential customers in this way.Not only have they lost good business on the night but could have been for many nights during the holiday.Thats a lot of lads business lost just for trying to take a drink into the club.

The whole island is not corrupt and is not run by Albanians and Serbs.Perhaps a tiny area of the island which is Laganas is.

Anyway at least in Southport you have quiet places to drink like the Welly,Chesh and the Metro.May just have an evening or two in these quiet places in a couple of weeks when I visit oop north.
