Green mamba cocktail

Green Mamba Garden

is a combination of Bar, Restaurant, Lounge

and Beergarden in Kololi The Gambia.

Traditional Concept

The subtle construction style of the round bar with its grass roof recalls a luxurious Gambian Bantaba, the place, where the villagers would meet to exchange and discuss the latest news in a relaxed atmosphere.

Chilling Athmosphere

Feel welcome for a chat at the round bar with a fresh cold drink. If you prefer quiet time with your friends, feel free to hide away with a bucket of beers or even a bottle of noble wine on our marvellous hand carved “lazy chairs” and low tables. Watch the stars and let our waiters serve you one of our unique cocktails made with fresh local juices, such as baobab, tamarinde, kabba or dittah.

Unique Offers

Our bar always offers a rich assortment of local and imported soft drinks, beers, wines, liqueurs and spirits. Outstanding cocktail creations, made from locally produced juices are our speciality! We also offer diverse coffee and tea versions. If you are still looking for activity, you can find two pool tables right next to the bar. Further we offer funny games and puzzles for your entertainment.

Tequila Cocktails

Tequila based Cocktail Recipes & Drink Recipes

Tequila is often thought of as just a shot you have to get drunk and is mostly assiciated with the tequila slammer. But Tequila is also found in many popular cocktail recipes, like Margaritas and Mojitos. We have a large rage of popular Tequila Cocktail Recipes and Tequila Cocktails for you to choose from.

About Tequila

Tequila is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant, primarily in the area surrounding the city of Tequila, 65 km northwest of Guadalajara, and in the highlands of the north western Mexican state of Jalisco. Mexican laws state that tequila can be produced only in the state of Jalisco and limited regions in the states of Guanajuato, Michoacan, Nayarit, and Tamaulipas.

With 100% agave tequila, blanco or plata is harsher with the bold flavors of the distilled agave up front, while reposado and anejo are smoother, subtler, and more complex.

As with other spirits aged in casks, tequila takes on the flavors of the wood, while the harshness of the alcohol mellows. The major flavor distinction with 100% agave tequila is the base ingredient, which is more vegetal than grain spirits.

When buying Tequila’s make sure you look for ‘100% Agave’ on the bottle so you know your getting a good product, some cheaper Tequilas only have 51% agave the rest is just extra sugars, flavourings and preseritaves. Tequilas with less than 100% Agave are sure to leave you with a nasty hangover and who knows what else. So CHECK your bottle of Tequila and go enjoy some awesome Tequila Cocktails.

So you can own a deadly fucking snake and if it gets loose you get your wrist slapped. But get caught with a rifle with a barrel less than 16 inches and they cut your balls off.

Allowing a venomous reptile to escape is a second-degree misdemeanor

Not that I think laws fix anything, but IMO this is far more dangerous than any NFA firearm and should be punished accordingly. Have to offer some kind of incentive to get them to report the escape though.

As mambas aren't exactly common here in the states, is antivenin even available for them? If not, do you get AV from a related species or maybe a cocktail of whatever is available?

Lots of hot keepers have a hospital store it for them, some have a venom response team like Miami.

Mambas are the only snake that actually scares me, coming from someone who has kept quite a few hots. A buddy of mine received a black mamba, and he wanted to know if I wanted to come over. Big mistake. Lets just say the little fucker got away from him, and unlike most hots, it actively tried to kill us, I backed up all the way up against the wall and it followed me, I had to hop up on the counter and the fucker still tried to get up there. My friend finally got him contained with some hooks and we resacked him. I honestly shat myself. I have a "whatever happens happens" attitude generally when faced with scary shit but I honestly felt like the grim reaper was coming for me. I no longer keep hots after having a close call with a gabby and another with a monocled cobra, but I still love them. The mambas still scare the ever loving shit out of me.

Glad you're safe an all now but, sorry
